More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've cared for children of all ages
-infants, toddlers, and older kids since beginning to babysit at age 11, then nannying as a teen. I also worked for an agency that served both children & adults living with developmental disabilities, which deepened my empathy, patience, and understanding of different learning styles & personalities. As a mother of 3, I volunteered for years in the preschool environment, specifically within the Montessori program, helping children grow in confidence, curiosity, & creativity. Through every role, I've brought warmth, calm safety, and genuine joy to the families I've supported.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love creating days filled with laughter, learning, and imagination. Whether reading stories with funny voices, singing together, baking, cooking or exploring at the Children's Museum, I make every moment fun & meaningful. I enjoy arts and crafts, getting outside to play, nature walks, and simple outings that open a child's eyes to the world around them at their level. Nothing brings me greater joy than encouraging little ones through hands-on experiences that build confidence, creativity, and genuine happiness.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important job of being a Nanny is keeping every child safe this is always top priority. Equally important is creating a sense of security and love, where children feel calm, happy and free to be themselves. I believe when a child feels safe & cherished everything else- learning, laughter and confidence flows naturally.

My experience with special needs children...

Over the years, I've worked with both children and adults living with special needs, including in a group home setting, and privately supporting a 5 year old boy with autism. Those experiences taught me patience and adaptability. While I am grateful for that time, my current focus and passion are working with neurotypical children- helping them grow, learn, and feel safe, loved and understood.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments is picking up the little boy I care for and hearing him call out, "Hi MiMi" as he runs toward me, followed by his whole class chiming in, "Hi MiMi' and then "Bye-Bye MiMi." As we leave. It melts my heart every time. Children can feel when they're doted on and loved, and moments like these remind me how much I adore what I do.
