The most important part about being a nanny to me is learning how to work with each child individually. Every kid I’ve sat for has been so different. I love learning what each child needs to be cared for and seen. Especially when siblings are involved.

My experience with special needs children’s consists of when I volunteered at my church. We had a couple special needs students who needed more attentive care which I’m happy to provide. My younger sister is on the spectrum as well and so I’ve experienced how someone with special needs thinks, acts, and communicates.

My favorite babysitting moment is when I went on a trip with the family I sat for and taught their oldest girl how to swim. She was so proud of herself and it made me so happy to see after babysitting for her for over two years.
