The most important part about being a nanny...
Most important part about being a nanny is everyone should be on the same page and have the best interest for the child or children.
My experience with special needs children...
I was a paraprofessional at a special education school in Trumbull. I helped the teacher redirect the boys when they got overwhelmed or I worked with my child for the week and we rotated. I also have an uncle with down syndrome he knows everything but how to tie his shoe. I’m willing to learn if your child has a need that has to be met!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Every morning when I go to work I get greeted my little one with a “hiiii dymie” or it’s only been a year that I have been nannying her and she has flourished. My also favorite moment is when you see the children you have previously worked with from a daycare setting and they are all grown up and flourished. Also when you keep in contact and you still get to be a part of the littles lives!
