I have over 3 years of paid babysitting experience caring for children of different ages. I’ve also cared for my little sister, baby cousins, and friends’ younger siblings. In addition, I’ve volunteered in my community and worked with younger kids through cheer clinics, helping children from preschool through middle school, which strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to engage kids in a fun and safe way.

I enjoy engaging with children in a variety of activities depending on their personality and interests. I’m very adaptable, whether a child is calm and quiet or more energetic, artistic, or talkative. I like doing creative activities like drawing and crafts, playing games, reading, and helping kids learn in a fun, supportive way while also matching their energy and making sure they feel comfortable and understood.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is providing consistent safety, structure, and care while creating a positive environment where a child feels secure and supported. It also requires patience, attentiveness, and the ability to truly understand and respond to a child’s needs. Just as important is giving parents peace of mind and a sense of relief knowing their child is in good hands. I take this role seriously because I genuinely care about working with children and plan to pursue pediatrics in the future.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with and supporting children with special needs through multiple school and community activities. I participated in Cougar Stars, where we practiced with special needs students after school and helped teach them cheers while they joined us on the sidelines. I’ve also volunteered through my school to support students with special needs and joining Best Buddies, a club focused on inclusion and friendship. In addition, I’ve had the opportunity to build friendships with classmates with special needs and interact with them regularly in school, which has helped me develop patience, understanding, and strong communication skills.
