I am a mother so I definitely have that 6th sense mother's usually possess. I've also babysat children such as my nieces and younger cousins.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
A game called "Get to Know Each Other": the children would get in a circle and I would toss a bean bag at a child of my choice. I’d ask the child a question such as “How old are you?”, “What’s your name?”, etc., they’ll toss the bean bag back to me and ask me a question. Later, I would toss it to a different child and the pattern would continue. If there is only one child I'm babysitting then we'll just go back and forth with the questions until we feel like we know each other well enough.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I feel that it is imperative for the children I'm watching to understand their worth. I aspire to let them know life lessons the easy way and their importance in life.
