A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Eden! A little bit about me; Child care is a lifelong passion of mine that began when I was ten years old. My goal is to complete college in the field of Social Work where I will broaden my knowledge and experience serving children and families in the community. Currently, my objective is to obtain a position that will utilize my existing experience and skills and help me to grow in my chosen field while serving others. My two most recent Job titles were a daycare teacher for a year, where i acquired my 40 DCF hours, and before that i was a nanny for a beautiful family with two kiddos where i worked for 5+ years. I have many previous nanny and babysitting experience prior to both of these. I am hard working, kind, patient, nurturing, and knowledgeable of children and their needs as they grow. Assessing the child in your cares needs and doing everything you can to meet and protect them. The child’s safety and needs are always of the upmost importance.

My experience with special needs children...

I was in a program in highschool where i was paired with special needs children and would do weekly activities together. I also had a few special needs children in my care when i was a daycare teacher. Both taught me so much and i loved working with them as much as i did my neurotypical kiddos!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching them learn, grow, and conquer huge milestones right in front of you, it will never get old and i love being able to help them make it happen!
