A little bit about me

Hello! I am currently an elementary Drama Teacher with extra time in my summer. I am a UTEP graduate and I majored in Musical Theatre with a minor in Dance. I have been the translator in my family my whole life so I can speak both Spanish and English fluently. I have been working with kids since I was a sophomore in high school as a princess performer. I would attended children’s parties dressed as different characters to sing, dance, and play. My junior and senior year of high school I also worked in a program called “meet in the middle” where I would help teach special need students how to play sports. After high school I was working a nightshift job as a child care worker for the border patrol station where I took care of kids as young as 8 months old to 18 years old. Now as a teacher I have over 300 students and I mange classes from grades Pre-K to 5th grade. I have lot of experience with kids of many ages and capabilities. Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a Theatre graduate who loves to be creative. I enjoy teaching children to draw, paint, sing, and dance. I am also very athletic and enjoy all outdoor activities.

My experience with special needs children...

I am an elementary Drama teacher. I teach students from Pre-K to 5th as well as students in AIM and BIC. I have students with both high and low functioning autism whom I care for dearly! I also was a volunteer for Meet in the Middle, an organization where we took care a kids with special needs and taught them sports.
