Babysitter as I was growing up. Started at 11, cares for my younger cousins and neighbors.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I was very active growing up, always playing sports and doing adventures outside. I love to incorporate that into my time with them, but with teens I tend not to push. I understand the feeling of wanting to just stay in. I love watching movies and playing board games with the kids as well, I just tend to notice that children get a bit bored after doing that for too long.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part is really bonding with the children. At the end of the day, they need to feel safe and loved. Couple other key points in a nanny, is communication with the family, a high sense of maturity, and punctuality.

My experience with special needs children...

I have none. I really don’t feel comfortable caring for one when I have so little experience.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was a live in nanny for a little boy named Orlando. We were in Zhengzhou, China at the time and I was teaching him English. I was teaching him sounds animals made, for example how a cat says “meow”. It wasn’t until the last week I was with him, that I realized he was saying “Nihao” to cats and “Meow” to people.
