A little bit about me

I'm a first time mom to a newborn looking for a nannying position to allow me to make the most of my time with my baby girl!

I have roughly 6 years of experience in early childhood education which I started in a preschool when I was 19. Since then, I've worked both in the classroom and in-home as a nanny for a few different families. Nannying is absolutely where my heart is, and I'd love to be able to continue doing that alongside caring for my own little one.

Additionally, I am CPR and First Aid certified and have taken some ECE certification courses. As much as I adore working in a classroom, the setting can be so busy due to the amount of children that I worry it will take away from my parenting. My goal is to find a wonderful family to work with so I can care for both of our babies at the same time!

Now that I have my own, I feel as though I have even more of a grasp on my childcare abilities-- it truly unlocked a new level of confidence in my role as a caregiver.

The most important part about being a nanny...

is treating children like humans! I see too often people, whether it be nannies, babysitters, or even teachers treating the children like they are pets. I know they're tiny humans, but they're still human! It is very important to me to help teach tiny humans to regulate their emotions and learn how to be a kind human, not just an obedient one!
