My background is an after school assistant at Manzanita Elementary in Redding, Ca and Jackson Heights Elementary in Red Bluff, Ca. I enjoy children and I express genuine interest in them. I maintain good eye contact by getting down to the child’s level. I have a high tolerance for a variety of noise and movement, and I do not expect order very moment.
I have also been employed at the Shasta College ECE center as a student staff where I ensured the classroom was a safe environment for the students and staff. I was able to focus on individual children while being aware of what is happening throughout the classroom.
In addition, for the past year and a half I have been working with disabled adults and having to provide assistant in the bathroom and learned how to de-escalate situations.
