More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have more than 15 years of experience working with children in the field of education in my country of origin Venezuela. Also, I have worked with children with special needs. I volunteered in education for orphaned and homeless children. I came to Chicago in 2018 and have worked with Childcare for three and a half years.I have experience teaching children the Spanish language. I am currently doing a substitute job as a Spanish teacher in a public school of Chicago. I have also worked in summer camps for children, where we do many playful learning activities.

I enjoy playing with children, especially outdoor activities and, I love to go for walks in the fresh air and contact with nature.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing for being nanny is to provide safe care with love. In addition to the skills and abilities to care for the baby, affection towards the children is very important to me, being responsible and honest in my work.

My experience with special needs children...

I have experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum. I did my university degree thesis with Autistic Children and Therapy with Horses in an Equine Therapy center in Venezuela. I wanted to participate in this research because I like working with children with special needs and also my younger brother is autistic.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Enjoying almost a simple moment, feeling that they are connected by smiling. I really enjoy taking the photos of each month and seeing how they grow, being part of that process makes me happy.
