When I was a nanny for 2 years I created curriculum for the children who were 2 years old when I started. Instead of forcing a curriculum on the kids I got to know them first, observe their interests and from there created a curriculum. In the first year being their nanny I noticed they were into space! So from there I created space related activities and art projects. My favorite moment was when the parents were would tell me how impressed they were that their kids at the age of 2.5yrs knew all the planets and the order they are placed in. These moments fill my heart!
