My relevant experience includes working with children ages 4–12 in my current role as an after school teacher, as well as providing consistent care for my niece since she was a newborn. She is now about one year old, and I have hands-on experience with infant care, routines, and developmental needs.

I enjoy engaging children in a variety of fun and age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, reading books together, imaginative play, building with blocks or puzzles, and music activities like singing and dancing. I also enjoy outdoor play such as going to the park, playing active games, nature walks, and simple sports. I like helping children learn through educational games, supporting homework, and practicing letters, numbers, and reading skills while encouraging positive routines and life skills. With younger children and infants, I enjoy activities like reading board books, singing nursery rhymes, sensory play, tummy time, and supporting developmental milestones in a safe and nurturing environment.

The most important thing about being a nanny is building a safe, trusting, and nurturing relationship with the children in your care. That means creating an environment where they feel loved, supported, and understood, while also maintaining routines, boundaries, and consistency. A great nanny balances care, guidance, and fun encouraging learning and development, supporting milestones, and fostering confidence, all while keeping the children safe and happy. Essentially it’s about being someone they can rely on respect and feel comfortable with every day.

My experience with special needs children...

have experience working with children of various ages, including those with special needs, as I previously worked as a behavioral technician. In this role, I supported children with individualized behavioral plans, helping them develop social, emotional, and academic skills in a structured and compassionate environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

A favorite nanny moment was when I played dress-up with the kids, and we ended up staging an entire “fashion show” in the living room. Seeing them giggle uncontrollably and invent stories on the spot was pure joy.
