The most important part about being a nanny or any kind of figure in a child’s life is to be responsible. A child is a commitment and a huge responsibility that you need to be able to focus on and give pretty much all of your time to. Children are soaking up their environments and developing at a fast pace and it’s important to be prepared for that in every single aspect.

It makes me really happy to know I’ve connected with someone and made them feel good. What I loved most about my last job was being a solid figure in the kids’ lives and being so close with them to where we considered each other family.
