From the time I 14 I began caring for children. I have a lot of babysitting experience with children as young as 7 weeks old. I also taught at a preschool where I babysat for the majority of the families, which was wonderful! Aside from this, I was a teacher for many years and have experience teaching a diverse group of learners!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
It is important to me to find out what the child or children’s interests are first and foremost. Whether it is arts and crafts, science activities, make believe activities, history, counting, and so on- I believe it’s important to take those interests and expand on them. If they are enjoying the activities, I surely am, too.

I have a degree in Special Education and have taught special needs children for several years including children with Autism, developmental delays, and learning disabilities! I have such fond memories of these experiences.

My favorite nanny moment was when I was nannying for a summer in Geneva, Switzerland and I took the children to a car museum in Lucerne for the day. I love to think outside the box based off of the children’s interests.
