For me, the most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children can feel comfortable to be themselves. It’s about building trust with both the kids and their parents so everyone feels at ease. I think children thrive when they have consistency and care, but also space for imagination, play, and learning. Being a nanny means showing patience and kindness every day, while also being flexible enough to adapt to whatever the moment brings. Most of all, it’s about being someone the children know they can count on for comfort, encouragement, and fun as they grow.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my sweetest nanny moments was when a little one I cared for made me a drawing that said, “I love you.” It was such a simple gesture, but it meant so much because it showed the bond we had built together.
