Well I am 56 but nobody can ever guess that I’m 56 but I do enjoy hanging and having so much fun with kids and they respect me and it makes it nice because mom and dad can just leave I know the kids are in good hands I have CPR first aid for adults and children and also work part time at MUSC’s
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Of course being outside as much as we can is my most favorite thing to do. And trying to do things like crafts as opposed to too much TV or video games and things like that I have my own child who’s 18 and I know that a balance is necessary. I try to make it so much fun with the kids. And do with mom and dad want also
The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s just doing what mom and dad want so that they can go out and work or play or do what they need to do and not have to worry about their kids. I’m a mom also and so I get it.
My experience with special needs children...
I grew up with a brother who had muscular dystrophy. I have babysat for many kids with special needs and there is a special place in my heart I try to make them as happy as possible comfortable and safe and all they really want is to be treated like normal although we know that they do have some needs that are more special than other kids.
The most important part about being a nanny...
In my neighborhood I babysit many families. And I do have kids come over all the time and play in my yard and everybody knows me and it’s just… those are my favorite moments
