Hello! My name is Liz. I am a mother of 3 college kids, a grandmother of an 9 yr old. I have worked in Education for 20 years in California before moving here. I am now a private teacher in Miami. I specialize working with children who have special needs. I have a Master degree in Special Education and an associate's in Early childhood studies (Child development). All I know is education and caring for children. I am married to my soul mate and have a loving lab named Rufus. My husband and I moved to our favorite vacation place to make it our forever home. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have cared for children ever since I was 17. I was a young mother and then become a program leader for a summer camp. This is when I knew I wanted to work with children. I worked at a child development center while I went to school for my degree in Child development. I went on and received my masters in Education with an emphasis is Special Education. My passion for children with special needs has been a life long calling of mine. It is my purpose and passion. People who know me say I have patience of a Saint.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am a very outdoors person, I enjoy going to the beach, I love being out in the water on our boat. I also love taking walks and enjoy creative arts.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters the most about being a nanny is simple….being there for them, being present for them…being a role model for them, being a person they can trust and rely on, just being someone they enjoy seeing and can learn from.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children with all different special needs for 18 years including Autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, E.D, ADHD, ADD ect.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments with children is when I see a smile or laugh because they were successful at a challenge they were having and I was there to support them. I love seeing growth in children and keep those precious moments dear to my heart.
