More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I nannied during my early twenties- after college, and then stayed home for several years with my children, before returning to my career. I have experienced most situations- illness, diapers, baby food prep, injuries, tears, tantrums, meals, bottle/pump sterilization, potty-training, homework, carpooling, grumpiness, chore charts, reading, all kinds of play, and enjoyed a few international trips with young children!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Absolutely anything outdoors.
Allowing them to safely explore and experience their world- getting messy or wet is ok with me!
Helping in the kitchen, squishing sand or play doh (I still make my own gingerbread- scented, at Christmas), painting, heading to the library or local playground, and for older kids- helping walk the dog/s, if it their chore/responsibility.
Additionally, laying low and playing cards or board games- Sneaky Snacky Squirrel was pretty regular!
Full transparency- I do not like making slime. It's a disaster!!

Time management- because the world is SO fast, balancing work + children provides a window to children that there is time, love, listening-attention, and understanding for their needs too- even when a busy schedule is part of the everyday!
