Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I previously worked at an after-school care program. I was one of three aides responsible for 30+ kids ages 4-12. I also have babysitting experience with newborns, toddlers, and elementary/middle school kids. I have babysat up to five kids at at time. Before coming to college, I used to coach little league soccer teams. As a coach, I was responsible for teaching 12 five and six year olds how to play soccer. It was a lot of fun. In all of these opportunities, I loved working with the kids.

Previously, I babysat a wonderful little girl who was hearing-impaired and on the spectrum. She was non-verbal about 50% of the time. I love anytime I get to watch her because she's darling.

Once I was coaching my U8 little league soccer team, and a few of my kids were getting distracted. I looked at them and said "Hands to ourselves, we're not kindergarteners." To which my whole team started saying, "I'm in kindergarten!" and "I'm in first grade!" I had to laugh and say "oh right" because I had said it without thinking, forgetting most of them were that little.
