Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked at LVAC playroom, where I watched, played, and cared for children while their parents went to workout. During my time here, I took many courses varying from understanding easily caught sickness and how to avoid them to getting trained on first aid/cor certified. I've also worked at a swim school where I taught children of all ages to swim based off my training there. This job taught me a lot of patience and persistence as every child is different, I'd learn to adjust myself to based of that individual child's needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing with children as it makes me feel like a kid again myself. My favorite games are the ones we make up along the way, those are always best. However, I also love getting creative and doing stuff like painting, or drawing, or anything arts and crafts related. I also love moving my body and encourage children to do the same by having dance parties, or practicing gymnastics, or even a good game of tag.
The most important part about being a nanny...
that the children feel safe and comfortable. As a big sister and aunt, my ultimate role is to create a safe and loving environment for these kids to be themselves. It is my top priority to ensure safety.
