IHi, my name is Ellie Smith and recently I have been looking for a new form of employment! I am flexible with days and times :) I absolutely adore kids, as I grew up with 3 siblings; two whom are younger. I have been babysitting/nannying since I was 13 years old. I have also coached kids gymnastics! I coached kids between the ages 8 months to 10 years of age. Including special needs. I hope to pursue a career in behavioral health and work with children! The most important part about being a nanny...

Is having a trusting relationship with the child. I believe that in order for a child to feel safe and comfortable around someone they don’t know it is imperative that I as the nanny establish a healthy and fun relationship.

My experience with special needs children...

I have babysat one autistic little boy who was 5 years old. As well as coached special needs gymnastics classes.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was driving my 10 year old girl and her little 3 year old brother to school and we had a song by maroon 5 playing in the car and, Hailey and I were singing and jack in the back seat was dancing. we look across the street and the truck driver was dancing along with us!! we had a good laugh afterwards.
