Making sure the kids are happy and healthy. I also think it’s really important for kids to be able to ask questions and learn new things (age appropriate of course).

As a camp counselor, I have worked with kids who have learning/other challenges (ADHD, ADD, Anger issues, PTSD, Down syndrome and Autism). It was always important to provide them with extra care and support but also make sure they weren’t separated from their peers or felt different because of who they were.
