Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am coming up on four years of babysitting/nannying experience, and I hold over 200 volunteer hours in FCPS Classrooms!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to keep kiddos engaged with crafting, playing board games, physical activities outside, montessori-style play, and so much more! I aim to keep screen time down to a very small percentage of when kiddos are in my care, as I believe that brains are built off human interaction and connection!

I am here to nurture and care for your children during your busiest and most challenging times! I want children under my care to receive the feeling of being heard, understood, and made a priority! I choose to use a broad and holistic approach to my care. I like to have parents/caregivers to be heavily involved and hold a good working relationship with me!

My experience with special needs children...

I have cared for a variety of children with both intellectual and physical disabilities. I do require to meet with parents and caregivers prior to my first time caring for the child (or children) and create a plan marked with goals, redirections, safety concerns, and medical needs. For extensive medical needs that would require extended care past my knowledge, I am willing to get the necessary trainings/certifications for that child!
