I am able to use advance scopes of practice . I know how to react in an emergent situation. In my field, I know how to talk to a medical team on there level. I routinely call in report to an ER, about a patient, that we are bringing to them. An EMT has 38 plus scopes of practice including: splinting broken bones, securing advanced airways , and knowing how to perform ACLS CPR. I work off an ambulance. I know how to care for the sick.
