A little bit about me

I have experience both in nannying and babysitting. I spent the summer of 2024 nannying one child. I have also babysat for neighbors and families along with working aftercare at a local preschool. I have my own vehicle to provide reliable transportation to work and for driving your children. I am happy to and experienced in running errands, taking kids to the pool, movies, etc., prepping meals, cleaning/tidying the house, and assisting with school work. I am an older sister so caring for younger kids has always been a big part of my life. It is an incredible experience and a privilege to get to know a child and watch them as they grow and learn. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Nannying - I was a nanny for a 7-year-old only child for an entire summer. Involved running errands, taking the child to the pool, movies, out to eat, etc., prepping meals at home, assisting the child with summer school work, and providing fun activities to do at home.
Babysitting - I have babysat for neighbors on multiple occasions. Most frequently I babysat two children ages 2 and 4. I assisted with post dinner routines, playtime, and bedtime routines.
Aftercare assistant - I worked as an assistant to the main teacher in charge of aftercare (after school care) at a local preschool. I assisted with distributing snack, cleaning up after students, playing with the students inside and outside, and helping them pack-up to go home.

I love playing imaginative games with children. I am happy to play along with a make believe barbie or action figure world. I love going to the pool with children. I am more than happy to get in the pool with them. I enjoy watching movies and shows with the children on rainy days. I love playing outside, going for walks, whenever possible. I enjoy reading with children.
