A little bit about me

Hi, I'm Emily! I'm currently in an Elementary Education degree program to be a teacher. I have a variety of experiences with children. I worked at a full day Summer Camp for five years as a counselor. I gained experience with different ages and abilities ranging from 5-13 years old. I was a site manager for a public school before and after school program. I was also an assistant preschool teacher. This allowed me to plan scheduled activities, communicate and build relationships with parents and children, and engage every child in activities no matter their age. I have a younger sister. I have helped coach Youth Cheer-leading and cheered all for years of high school and captain my senior year learning leadership. I love sports and to be outdoors. I also love arts and crafts. I am very creative and interactive. I have a desire to teach and care for each child's individual needs.
