I worked with the company Childcare Careers. They send you to different daycares to substitute for shorthanded daycares. I worked at the Goddard school for a year where I was sent to that school to substitute and was offered a full time position there.
I then decided to work at another daycare called The Learning Experience where I got a better opportunity to grow and learn.

I love teaching children how to cook and do basic everyday things such as cleaning up their toys, brushing their teeth, etc. I love taking kids for walks to the park or around the block, singing, and reading books to them.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure families are comfortable with me. I love working with families and building a bond with them and their children. Having great understandings about each other and good communication is what's the most important part of being a nanny. Overall, just making sure the child is safe and reassuring the family in different ways.
My experience with special needs children...
My brother has special needs and I helped a lot in my household with him. I would feed him (via g-tube), administer medicine, play with him, change his diaper, take him on walks to the park, bathe him, get him ready for school/the day, etc.
