A little bit about me

Hi!

I’m Emily. I’ve been caring for children professionally since 2014 and love it. I have experience as a full time and part time live-out nanny (responsibilities include cooking, running errands, light housekeeping, etc.) as well as simple babysitting for other families here and there.

Now I’m a mama to a three year old boy. I bring him with me when I work, which has been such a great experience for everyone these past three years. The kids get a new play buddy and look forward to hanging out every week!

I love promoting physical activity and time outdoors, reading, cooking/baking, and creativity. I’m a huge fan of Waldorf and Montessori philosophies when it comes to teaching, raising, and interacting with children. I provide a safe space for kids to explore the world and be themselves. I also align with Janet Lansbury’s respectful parenting style and mirror her guidelines in my own parenting/caregiving positions.
