More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered at an after-school program for children, where I was responsible for providing homework help, organizing playtime, and engaging in activities with the kids. I babysat and dog-sat for a couple of years for a family of three dogs and six kids. Throughout my life, I have taken care of newborns to 12-year-olds with complex needs. I babysit occasionally for my coworker's 4-year-old daughter. I have a fairly flexible schedule, and I am looking into getting CPR/First Aid certified as soon as possible.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I absolutely love imaginative playing, or coming up with games on the spot. I enjoy puzzles and crafts, engaging in playful and informative activities, and I can attempt to play video games. I love being outside and keeping children entertained with anything possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think one of the most important parts about being a nanny is communication with the parents, and the child. Having boundaries in place, building trust in a creative and safe environment for the children. Routine and stability are extremely important in child development and its important to remember that for children you are more than just a babysitter, but a trusted adult with their life and growth in your responsibilities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There are almost too many to count, from after-school programs, occasional babysitting, recurring babysitting, and taking care of my siblings.
However, my favorite nanny moment has been the times when I was able to help a child feel heard and assist them with their homework that they were struggling to understand. Once they had the confidence to focus oneir their work, they were able to play outside before going home, and their excitement and happiness from finishing their work was the most rewarding feeling.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Knoxville, TN: Madeline D.
I have had the privilege over the years of being part of many children’s lives. Either through helping them grow by doing simple educational activities and creative fieldtrips that excite there imaginative side, or simply engaging their crafting skills with something new and fun! It’s literally the most amazing thing to watch! I’ve been taking care of kids since I was 12 years old. From the ages of 10 months old to 10 years old . I’m not easily overwhelmed by the often chaotic nature kids can bring on and am good at multitasking.
At the core of everything I do is my faith in Jesus and my desire to be like him and love others like him. I am a pastor’s wife in the Knoxville area and have had the opportunity to take care of many kids through the years, and don’t have any of my own at this time.

Full-Time Nanny Available in Knoxville, TN: Seanna D.
My name is Seanna Daparteira, and I'm an 18-year-old rising Sophomore at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville! I'm a Political Science major with a focus in Pre-Law Studies and an additional minor in Latin! I'm originally from the Argyle area and lived in the DFW region for majority of my life. Since my mother was a Pre-School teacher, I was raised in an environment where I was constantly caring for children. Majority of my summers were spent aiding her and her co-workers at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Southlake, Texas. The children's ages ranged anywhere from 5 months to 11-years-old, which allowed my skillset to be immensely diverse and easily malleable to whatever age group needed assistance. This experience was able to be refined throughout my teenage years as I began babysitting professionally. As I come back to Texas for the summer, I truly hope to be blessed with the opportunity to assist a family in need of extra assistance!
