I have worked in a daycare as mainly a one year old teacher, but through out that summer I was a floater in all classes ages 0-5. For the past two years, I have worked for a company called Carilly, as a babysitter and nanny where I have worked for families, churches, and other events such as Sun N Fun.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite activities to do with children are activities that are a mix of fun and creative while also being a learning experience. Some of my favorites are age appropriate science experiments, arts and crafts, outside play and imaginative play. In my opinion the best activities are ones that help kids learn while also having fun and encouraging imagination.

The most important part of being a nanny is building a relationship based on trust, love, and consistency. Children thrive when they feel safe and understood. Being a nanny also can help take some stress off a parents shoulders, overall creating a healthier environment. While responsibilities like preparing meals, helping with homework, and keeping schedules organized are important, what families remember most is how you made them feel. Being patient during difficult moments, celebrating accomplishments, creating memories, and showing up for them every day can have a lasting impact on their confidence and development. A great nanny isn’t just someone who watches children—it’s someone who genuinely cares for them and helps them grow into happy, secure individuals.
