A little bit about me

Hey there! My name is Emily, I’m a bonus mom to my sweet 3 year old boy, and I’ve worked with kiddos since I was a kiddo myself! Being one of five kids with an abundance of baby cousins, I grew up with an understanding of childhood development. I always had a passion for teaching. I nannied for family for a while until I was old enough to get a job. After that, I held positions in retail until I started college where I began studying Medicine. After a year, I realized I was missing something in my life... kids! I got my first job in child care when I was 18, and I haven’t stopped since. I have since taught preschool for two years, first grade for a year, and have most recently been an infant teacher and a Director of a childcare center. Throughout the years, I have become quite the expert on all things children from ages 0-6. I am tidy, organized, detail oriented, passionate, kind, and most importantly, amazing with children.
