More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have extensive experience caring for and working with children across a wide range of ages. I worked as a swimming coach, teaching children from 6 months to 12 years old, where I focused on water safety, skill development, and building confidence.
In addition, I have provided consistent babysitting services since adolescence, caring for infants and young children in a home setting and supporting their daily routines and development.
I have also volunteered for several years in Children and Youth Church programs, engaging with children ages 2–17 through teaching, supervision, and mentorship.
Additionally, I served as a youth worker and mentor in Ghana, where I worked closely with children ages 2–14, providing guidance, support, and structured activities that encouraged personal growth and positive development.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging children in fun, active, and age-appropriate activities such as playing outdoors, going on walks or bike rides, and encouraging creativity through crafts and coloring. I also enjoy spending time watching appropriate, engaging movies together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel secure, valued, and supported. Building trust with both the child and the family is essential, as it allows children to grow confidently, express themselves, and thrive.
I believe a great nanny not only cares for a child’s basic needs but also invests in their emotional, social, and developmental growth through patience, attentiveness, and genuine connection.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments working with kids was seeing a child I taught accomplish something they had been working so hard on, whether it was gaining confidence in the water during swim lessons, learning a new skill, or simply opening up and expressing themselves more. Being part of those small but meaningful milestones and knowing I helped create a safe, encouraging environment for them to grow is what makes working with children so rewarding to me.

Babysitter Available in Dalworthington Gardens, TX: Makaylah R.
I’m the oldest of three siblings and grew up helping care for my younger brother and sisters. My mother also ran a home daycare, so childcare has always been a big part of my life. With these experiences, I’ve become comfortable caring for multiple children at once and assisting with daily routines such as meal prep/cooking, cleaning, and other household activities. I’m patient, reliable, and focused on creating a safe, nurturing environment where children feel supported and parents feel at ease.
