Hey! My name is Emily Thornton. I am currently 19 years old. I live in Valdosta, GA, but I will be moving to Tifton, GA in August to go to school at ABAC. I plan on pursuing a degree in Nursing. I love to help people and put everyone before myself. I have babysat ever since I was 15 years old. I have worked at a daycare here in Valdosta for 2 years. I love to be indoor and outdoor with children. I think it is important for children to have time away from technology and to be able to enjoy things that are right in front of them. We will go outside, play in the water, figure out different kinds of puzzles, and most importantly be together and have fun!

The most important thing about being a nanny is to build a relationship with the child and to teach him/her responsibility and to have fun. Being nanny is about having dedication, responsibility, compassion, and love.

My favorite nanny moment is after a long day of playing and I am about to leave to go home; the kids will run up to you and give you a big hug and they'll say they can't wait for tomorrow to do it all over again.
