Hi! I just graduated with my masters degree in speech pathology and I am looking for babysitting jobs until I begin working full time in June and am interested in date nights even once I start working full time. I have lots of experience working with children of various ages: I’ve been a summer babysitter, a swim instructor, a substitute teacher, the director at an after-school care program, a nanny for a family with 7+ children in the home, and a therapist for children with autism spectrum disorders. I love getting to be a part of helping children learn about the world around them and want to help your family in any way I can! I enjoy cleaning and can assist around the home beyond childcare! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

The past year I have worked as a therapist for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. I am pursuing my masters in speech-language pathology and relocating to Texas so I have to leave my current position. I have also been the director of an after-school program serving children ages 3 - 12 years old as well as a substitute teacher. I have been a camp counselor for a sleep away camp as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love helping children learn about the world around them! In my speech pathology coursework I have loved learning how to engage children in language and literacy from a young age. I enjoy taking kids to the park and doing activities with them that allow hands on learning!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is caring for a child while they are with me! Making sure the children I work with are safe while having fun are my top priorities!

The past year I have worked as a therapist for children with Autism. I have regularly worked with 15+ clients. I also have worked with children with Cerebral Palsy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One time I got to do hair and makeup for a ballet recital for a child I had been babysitting. Dropping her off and surprising her with flowers at the end was SO fun!!
