Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Volunteering work at Paw Paw Early and Later Elementary would help teach the kids how to read and do simple math skills as well as just watching them in the classroom and spending time with them. I’ve also babysat two of my neighbors kids, one being two boys and the other being 1 boy both in the age groups 4-7.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy all sorts of activities depending on the child’s age and stage of development. With preschoolers, I love doing creative crafts, story time, maybe go outside and play games if it’s nice, things to keep them active and encourage their imagination. With school-age kids, I enjoy helping them with homework, playing games, staying active by going outside as well I’d even like to go take the kids to do activities like mini golf or something fun! No matter what age the child is I always aim to create a safe comfortable environment where kids can learn, grow and just be themselves while having fun of course.

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building, a strong trusting relationship with both the children and their families. It’s about creating a safe, loving environment, where kids feel supported, understood and free to be themselves. As a nanny I believe I’m not just a caregiver but a consistent presence in a child’s daily life, someone they can count on for comfort, encouragement, and guidance. I take that responsibility, seriously and believe in nurturing not just routines and milestones, but also confidence, kindness, and joy along the way.
