I was a camp counselor summer of 2025 working with young teenage girls and young kiddos from 5-10 years of age

I love all things arts and crafts! I love being able to make fun little gifts to bless the parents or even loved family members with!

The most important part about being a nanny...
I would say the most important part about being a nanny is being intentional with the kids, making sure to play with them talk with the especially. But just making sure that every moment spent with them is an intentional getting to know them moment.
My experience with special needs children...
At my daycare I have a couple of 2 year olds with speech impairments and working with them to use hands as a form of communication is always so cool to watch.
I also grew up with an autistic brother so I have much experience when it comes to learning to navigate around the different forms of challenges that it can come with. But it really is such a blessing to me to work with all forms of special needs and have a special place in my heart as my brother is one of my favorite people!

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nannying moments is when any kid says “Emma I love you” just a couple words bless my heart because it shows me that I’m not boring but that they are having a fun time when there with me.
