I enjoy playing “make believe” games outside, doing hands-on, tactile activities, or reading a favorite book before bed. I find whether we’re on a new adventure or going through our daily routine, often what matters most is being present, available, and engaged with the kids in each moment.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Was when I helped the two brothers I full-time nannied learn what forgiveness really means. We had a meltdown with a lot of big emotions and resentment on both sides, but seeing the boys coming together to apologize and share how much they loved each other and then snuggle up for a book before bed was something I’ll always remember.
