"Emma was one of our student mentors for K-9th grade students. Emma managed groups of up to 25 students doing physical activities. Emma helped plan the activities, present them to the students, and get the students to participate in them. She did an excellent job motivating the students, even the most difficult of ones. She was well-liked by the students and I could count on her enthusiasm to help the students enjoy the program. She was a great team player that would jump in and help where she saw a need. Emma had a great connection with the students and was able to reach some of the more shy ones. The students knew that she cared about them and they enjoyed being around her. She was always positive and encouraging and celebrated the smallest of achievements with them. This created a desire in the students to try harder and improve and achieve even more. I would highly recommend Emma for this position and I know she will make a difference in the lives of any children she works with."
