More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I’ve always been told I’m naturally good with kids, and spending time with them is something I genuinely enjoy. Getting to hang out, play, and be creative with children is fun and rewarding for me. As the eldest of four, I’ve grown up caring for kids of all ages, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong childcare skills.
I also have professional experience working as a tutor and as an after-school care worker, where I helped children with homework, planned activities, and supported a safe, positive environment. I’m dependable, attentive, and comfortable with routines and multiple children. I love building meaningful connections with kids and being someone they feel safe and happy around.

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building strong trust with both the child and the family. A nanny plays a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and consistent environment where a child feels secure, valued, and emotionally supported. Being a nanny requires patience, reliability, and the ability to understand and respond to a child’s individual needs. A nanny is not only responsible for daily care, but also for helping guide a child’s emotional and social development. When a child feels understood and protected, and parents feel confident in the care being provided, a positive, lasting relationship forms that allows the child to grow and thrive.
My experience with special needs children...
I have a family member with special needs, which has given me firsthand experience and understanding of the extra care, patience, and attentiveness it takes to support a child with special needs. Being around this regularly has taught me how important it is to be compassionate, adaptable, and mindful of each child’s individual needs. I understand that every child is different and may require additional support, clear communication, or a consistent routine, and I’m comfortable providing that level of care. This experience has helped me become more understanding, calm, and responsive, and it’s something I carry with me when working with all children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s less a favorite nanny moment and more a most memorable nanny moment, but once I was asked to watch the three kids I regularly watched. There was a 4-year-old who was nonverbal, a 2-year-old, and a 9-month-old. I had been watching their kids fairly regularly at the time, and I was supposed to watch them from 6:30 pm to 12:30 am so the parents could go to a soccer game. When I got there, though, there were not only my clients' kids but also her brothers' three kids, ages 6, 5, and 2, and her sisters' three kids, ages 7, 3, and an 11-month-old. I was not informed about the additional children beforehand. The parent asked me to put the babies to bed at 7:30 and the children aged 2 to 5 to bed by nine. The eldest children were allowed to stay up until the adults got home. I made bottles for the babies, dinner for the kids, and brought them all to bed. Overall, it was a challenging yet rewarding experience for me as a young teen starting in child care.
