Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over 5 years of professional childcare experience, having nannied for three families and cared for children ranging from infants to middle schoolers. My experience also includes babysitting since the age of 16 and working several summers at a children’s summer camp, where I helped lead activities and ensure a fun, safe environment. I'm confident in handling a variety of age groups and love supporting children's growth through play, learning, and structure.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love activities that include a lot of imaginative play. I feel that when children tap in with their imagination and include that in play, it allows for them to see the world in a much larger way, where the possibilities could be endless for them. Taking children outside and letting them create their own experiences with nature is important too, in my opinion. Games such as trivia, matching, and strategy are not only super fun but cognitively beneficial as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting relationship while also providing nurturing for a child at the same time. A nanny offers one-on-one attention to a child or children which supports needs or interests on a more personal level.

My experience with special needs children...

While I don’t have extensive experience working with children with special needs, I’m open-minded, patient, and always willing to learn. If a family feels comfortable, I’m happy to follow guidance, ask questions, and adapt to meet their child’s unique needs with care and respect.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was attending a ballet recital after the months of hard working I witnessed in class each week. The child was always slightly hesitant to go but of course, always enjoyed the class itself. The recital was the moment that brought it all together in the end. It was a beautiful moment to watch her proud of all her dedication.
