During that time, I helped with their daily routines, meals, activities, and making sure they always felt safe, loved, and cared for. My sister eventually hired a full-time nanny, and the girls started school, so my help was no longer needed. I am patient, dependable, and love creating a fun and positive environment for children. Although I am not currently CPR or First Aid certified, I am more than willing to get both certifications because children’s safety and well-being are extremely important to me. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have 5 years of hands-on childcare experience caring for my sister’s two daughters. During that time, I was responsible for helping with their daily routines, preparing meals, keeping them entertained with fun and educational activities, and making sure they were always safe and well cared for. I also helped with cleaning up after them, maintaining their schedules, and providing a loving and supportive environment. As they got older and started attending school, my sister decided to hire a full-time nanny, so my help was no longer needed. This experience taught me patience, responsibility, communication, and how important it is to understand each child’s individual needs. Although my experience has mainly been with family, I take childcare very seriously and genuinely enjoy working with children!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I always try my best to do activities that the children enjoy and that make them happy. I love seeing kids have fun, whether it’s playing outside, doing arts and crafts, coloring, reading books, playing games, or simply using their imagination. I also enjoy introducing them to new activities that help them learn and be creative. I believe every child has their own personality and interests, so I always try to understand what they like and make sure they feel included and comfortable. My biggest priority is making sure they are happy, safe, and having a great time while under my care!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is understanding the responsibility that comes with caring for someone else’s child. As a nanny, you are being trusted with something incredibly precious to a family, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. A child’s safety, happiness, and overall well-being should always come first. I believe it’s important to be patient, loving, understanding, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I also understand how important it is for parents to feel comfortable and confident knowing their children are in good hands. To me, being a nanny is so much more than just watching children. It’s about building trust, creating a safe and loving environment, and being someone both the children and their parents can depend on!

My experience with special needs children...

Although I don’t have direct experience caring for children with special needs, I am more than willing to learn and gain experience. I believe every child deserves to feel loved, understood, supported, and included, regardless of their individual needs. I am a very patient, caring, and understanding person, and I know every child is different and requires their own level of attention and care. I would be happy to learn from parents about their child’s specific needs, routines, and preferences to make sure I can provide the best care possible. My biggest priority is always making children feel safe, comfortable, and loved!

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part of being a nanny for my two nieces was getting to watch them grow up and seeing their little personalities develop over the years. From watching them learn new things to hearing their funny stories and seeing how excited they would get over the smallest things, those moments always made my day. I especially loved the little things, like when they would randomly give me hugs or tell me they loved me. Those are the moments that remind me why I love caring for children so much. Being able to make a child feel happy, safe, and loved is such a rewarding feeling, and those are memories I will always cherish!
