More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I began working with children in 2010, starting as a Guardian ad Litem in Florida, where I advocated for the best interests of children in the foster care system. I’ve also worked extensively in childcare settings, and I currently serve as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I provide one-on-one support to children with autism. In these roles, I’ve cared for children ranging from infancy to school age—supporting their emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs in both home and clinical environments.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in creative and enriching activities that support their development and spark their imagination. This includes arts and crafts, sensory play, reading storybooks, singing songs, building with blocks, nature walks, and age-appropriate educational games. I also enjoy supporting milestones through fun activities like practicing colors, letters, numbers, and simple routines. Most of all, I enjoy creating moments of laughter, connection, and learning that help children feel safe, confident, and happy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where a child feels secure, supported, and free to grow. It’s about building trust—not just with the child, but with the family—by being reliable, compassionate, and truly present. As a nanny, I believe it’s my responsibility to nurture not only a child’s physical well-being, but also their emotional and developmental needs through patience, positive guidance, and meaningful connection.
My experience with special needs children...
I currently work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I provide one-on-one therapy to children with autism and other developmental delays. Through this role, I’ve gained hands-on experience implementing behavior intervention plans, teaching communication and daily living skills, and using positive reinforcement strategies to support each child’s unique needs. I understand the importance of patience, consistency, and individualized care, and I take pride in creating a calm, supportive environment where every child can grow at their own pace. My experience has deepened my passion for helping all children reach their fullest potential.
