Before moving to Springfield nearly four years ago, I worked at Small World Montessori School in my hometown, caring for children ages 3 to 10. After relocating to Springfield, I continued working with children at the Monarch Children's Academy, where I cared for kids ranging from 1 month to 8 years old. While I valued the experience and enjoyed my time with the children, I realized that the school setting wasn’t the right fit for me. What truly resonated with me was the opportunity to connect with children one-on-one, supporting their development and watching them learn and grow through each stage of life.

I enjoy trying new activities and staying active outdoors in Springfield. I love exploring the area and engaging in fun activities with children, such as nature walks, visiting parks, doing crafts, and playing educational games that help them learn and grow.
My experience with special needs children...
With extensive experience providing personalized care to individuals with special needs—most notably through my previous role at Nova Center of the Ozarks—I have developed strong skills in promoting independence, encouraging positive behaviors, and delivering consistent, high-quality support. In my current position as a Direct Care Aide with Acumen Fiscal Agent, I assist with daily living tasks, facilitate community outings, and apply behavior management techniques to support positive development and skill-building. I also work closely with family members to ensure care is individualized and responsive to each person’s unique needs.
