Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoors depending on the age of the child for example dot art, color and crafts they especially love to make slime but I always ask permission from the parents. For older kids they like making things so I've done tye dye and I provide everything. I bring games like uno, connect four, and board games. Outdoor activities if they have an enclosed safe area we play catch, hide and seek, ball games, blow bubbles. For infants and toddlers do some fine and gross motor skills activities, take them for walks and blow bubbles.
My experience with special needs children...
Mostly with Autistic children.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Are watching them engaged in their play like toddlers they have their own toys but if they see a box that they can climb into then that's what they will play with and forget about the other toys. But my most favorite is the hugs, but due to COVID19 I had to make some adjustments to fist bumps or high fives.
