A little bit about me

Hi! I'm Evelyn. I am 20 years old and the oldest of three kids. I have always loved working with and taking care of children. I try to bring fun and creativity to my interactions with kids and love to watch their creativity flourish. I also pride myself on my ability to be patient with children while maintaining needed structure and rules. In addition to this, I always try to let the kid primarily direct our play while making sure it stays appropriate and fun for all who are participating. As an older sibling, I have had experience interacting with children younger than me on a regular basis since before I can remember-- and not just the fun parts either! I am comfortable with the parts of childcare that mean dealing with a child who does not want to do what they need to and cleaning up any and all messes they might make. I have never met a child I didn't want to spend time with, whatever that time might look like!
