I have worked consistently with 1 family and multiple other families here and there. I cooked dinner, cleaned the house, and played fun and entertaining games with a wide variety of children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities that I enjoy doing with kids are fun and easy science experiments. I love to go on walks and let them ride their scooters or bikes if they are able. I like to let the kids participate in the cooking/baking, it allows them to build fine motor skills and to feel included.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where children feel truly seen, supported, and valued. It's not just about routines or responsibilities- it's about being a steady, trusted presence in their lives. I believe kids grow best when they're nurtured with patience, kindness, and faith. Every child is different, and I do my best to meet them where they are with care, respect, and a joyful heart. Being part of their growth- emotionally, socially, and even in the little everyday moments- is something that I feel deeply grateful for.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment had to be when the mom, who was a doctor, and very tired and just overall overworked. This was the first time that I had babysat for this family, and they had four boys ranging from 2-10. I could tell that the kids' emotions were high, from the stress of their parents absence. Mother's Day was coming up and I just wanted to make sure that she felt well taken care of. I thoroughly cleaned the house, and occupied the younger children with some coloring while the older two and I tackled the house in a fun way with music playing in the background. I cooked dinner with the help of the younger ones. It's always fun to see them get excited about doing something new. We all made a craft and a nice card. My favorite part was when the mom came home, and the relief was just all over her face. It made me feel so good to make her feel good. Unfortunately, they moved out of state 5 months ago, but I still look back and remember the fun time that I had with this family.
