A little bit about me

I love working with kids and I enjoy watching kids grow and learn. I am the oldest of 4 children at my house, and have helped my siblings through the stages of growing up. The best way to reach me is by texting me or emailing me.
I am CPR certified, and have BLS training as well. My full-time job is in the operating room, if anyone happens to fall from playing too hard, rest assured I have a well stocked first aid kit as well.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered at my highschool in the special needs department for two years.
I also student taught kids band class and taught them how to play various instruments.
Currently I TA for a first grade teacher and I read to the kids and help them with math and anything else the teacher asks me to help her with. I also have been a nanny for 4 years and counting

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading with kids and watching them learn, I also enjoy taking them out for picnics and bike rides and walks.
I love making kids smile so if I can play with them or tell them a funny story I will have as much fun as them. I also love to teach kids how to read and spell as well as including them in the kitchen when I cook or bake anything.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being able to connect with a child and making their lives more enjoyable. Being able to give a child a mentor and someone to look up to, and being able to guide them.

My experience with special needs children...

I volunteered at my school in the special needs department for two years and I also help with special olympics year round

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment is when I was cooking dinner for the kiddos, Morgan (2 years) and Deyna (3 years), I told them to go and play with their toys while I cooked. I was straining the noodles and I realize its quiet...too quiet. So I go to the living room to see what the girls are up to, and there is only Deyna. Morgan is nowhere to be found, Deyna wasn't helpful with finding her sister and I was freaking out because I had just lost a kid in her own house, how was I going to explain that to their parents? I continue searching for her, when all of a sudden I hear pots and pans clanging. I went to the kitchen and I looked in the cupboards, Morgan was hiding in one of them because Deyna told her to play hide and seek. What an exciting time that was.
