A little bit about me

I am a caring, dependable, and responsible caregiver with hands-on experience working with children of different ages. For approximately one year, I worked in a daycare setting at St. John Bosco caring for groups of children ages 4–11. My responsibilities included supervising the children, helping with meals and snacks, organizing games and age-appropriate activities, monitoring playtime, and making sure they were safe, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day.
I also have experience volunteering with children and families through Bio-Behavioral Corporation, where I assisted behavioral therapists working with children with disabilities. I enjoy reading with children, helping with homework, playing games, doing arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, and creating activities that are both fun and engaging. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, have reliable transportation.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have always enjoyed working with children and have several years of experience in caregiving and mentorship. From ages 15–18, I volunteered at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, where I worked with children ages 5–12. I spent time playing with them, engaging in conversations, supervising playground activities, reading together, and accompanying them on field trips in a safe and supportive environment.

From ages 16–19, I also volunteered with Bio-Behavioral Corporation, where I assisted behavioral therapists in supporting children with developmental and behavioral disabilities. This experience strengthened my patience, compassion, communication skills, and ability to adapt to each child’s unique needs.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love creating a fun, engaging, and positive environment where children can learn and express themselves. Some of my favorite activities include reading books together, helping with homework, playing games, having conversations, spending time outside, drawing, painting, coloring, arts and crafts, building with toys, and encouraging imaginative play. I believe children learn best when they’re having fun, so I enjoy combining creativity with opportunities for intellectual growth and confidence-building.

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, being a nanny is about making a positive and lasting impact on a child’s life. Every child deserves to feel safe, heard, respected, and encouraged to be themselves. I strive to create a caring environment where children can learn, grow, build confidence, and have fun while giving parents peace of mind knowing their child is in responsible and compassionate hands.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments are when a child feels proud of themselves: whether it’s finishing their homework, mastering a new skill, or creating something they’re excited to show off. I love being someone they feel comfortable talking to and creating a “big sister” type of relationship where they know they’re supported, encouraged, and celebrated.
