Depending on the age, I like to either read to or help the child read age-appropriate books. Listening to music and dancing is also a fun way to burn off some energy and provide exercise to older kids.

I would say the most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child is safe and provide the child with what they need to be healthy and successful.
My experience with special needs children...
I am willing to learn how to care for special needs children. I have some experience with helping children that have trauma or often have tantrums. Kids have big emotions, and a lot of the times just haven’t learned how to express them in an effective way, so patience is always a great virtue when dealing with kids who may struggle with emotion regulation.
